Fellow Archers,

The next monthly meeting of Mid-Del Archers is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM on October 16, 2005. The meeting place will be the Fox Hunters Clubhouse. The clubhouse will open @ 6:30.

Elections are held during the October general membership meeting. The nominees for President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer are David Hosier, Jim Eastman, and David Slack. A vacancy exists for Range Captain. Also a Member representative slot is open on the Board of Directors. This is your club, come out and get involved. See you on October 16, 2005.

Proposed changes to the Mid-Del Constitution which were sent to the membership were read, discussed and approved during the September general membership meeting. An electronic file of the document is being generated and copies of the revised Mid-Del Archers Constitution will be available at the Fox Hunters Club soon.

The Senior Olympic archery competition was hosted by Mid-Del Archers at the Fox Hunters Club on September 18, 2005. The turn out was fewer then expected but two members of Mid-Del Archers won medals, Jim Eastman won Silver in the 50-54 age group and David Slack won Gold in the 60-64 age group. Thanks to all of the club members who supported preparation of the range for this event.

Mid-Del Archers now has a dedicated storage area in the fox Hunters Clubhouse. The room adjacent to the kitchen will house Mid-Del Archers files, kitchen inventory, trophies, signs, etc.

Please make a special effort to come out, and vote this month.
