Fellow Archers,

The next monthly meeting of Mid-Del Archers is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM on November 13, 2005. The meeting place will be the Fox Hunters Clubhouse. The clubhouse will open @ 6:30.

Elections of Officers and the Board of Directors were held during the October general membership meeting. Elected club officers and the Board of Director members follow:

Congratulations to the 2005/2006 Mid-Del Archers Administration and thanks to the outgoing administration for your efforts. A thank you is in order for all members who took the time to support Mid-Del Archers during the past year. It is through your efforts that Mid-Del Archers continues to be a viable organization.

Efforts are being made to upgrade our 3-D targets. Target types i.e. Rinehart or McKenzie and specific targets will be a discussion topic at the next general membership meeting. Purchase of new/replacement targets are planned before the end of 2005.

Mid-Del Archers 2006 Shoot Schedule will also be discussed at the next meeting. The 2005 schedule included, in addition to the monthly 3-D competition, six other shoots. The additional shoots were: Youth Shoot, Senior Olympic Shoot, Delaware Bay Tournament, ASA Qualifier shoots (2) and ASA Championship Shoot. We are seeking sponsors for the 2006 shoots, if you know any business or organization willing to sponsor a shoot, please contact: David Slack @ 284-2322, if no answer, leave a message.

Postage/mailing costs have exceeded $225.00 to date this year and are increasing. However, it is necessary to keep active/participating members informed of club happenings. Therefore, the Membership list, Shoot records and meeting records for 2005 will be reviewed. Members who have not paid their 2005/2006 membership dues and members who are exempt from annual dues who have not participated in any club event/function will no longer receive the monthly News Letter after this mailing.
