Fellow Archers,

Good news, we have elected a new president. The new president is David Hosier. David feels as I that Mid-Del Archers has a bright future and will continue to evolve as an organization with the support of its members and the community.

The next meeting of the Mid-Del Archers is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM on December 19, 2004. The meeting place will be the Fox Hunters Clubhouse. The clubhouse will open @ 6:30.

Several issues are being discussed, including membership dues, 3-D shoot fees, etc. Some of the changes require amendments to the club bylaws. An example of such a change is membership types and annual dues. Currently the club bylaws define five (5) types of membership and four (4) classes of annual dues. The types of membership are: Standard, social, Junior, Lifetime, and Senior (55 and over). Annual dues are defined for standard membership, standard-family membership, social membership, and junior membership. Senior membership is not addressed in the current bylaws.

Proposed Membership types and membership dues will be discussed at the next meeting. A proposed dues schedule is included.

Target costs have increased significantly since 1997. Target midsection replacement costs have risen also. Revenue from 3-D shoot fees is used to maintain 3-D targets. Numerous 3-D targets midsections require replacement. Range fees have not increased since 1997. Proposed 3-D shoot fees will be discussed at the next meeting. Dave A proposed 2005 shoot fee schedule is included.
