Fellow Archers,

The next meeting of the Mid-Del Archers is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM on May 22, 2005. The meeting place will be the Fox Hunters Clubhouse. The clubhouse will open @ 6:30. See you there.

The May 3-D shoot was sponsored by Eagle Eye Archery. Several pieces of Archery equipment were provided as door prizes. Every archer signing up to shoot was given a ticket during registration. Following registration closing, several names were drawn and the winners were able to select an item from the door prizes provided. Eagle Eye Owner Jon Burgess was available to answer archery related questions. Thanks Jon for your support and time.

Participation in the first ASA Qualifier was less then expected. However, a second opportunity to Qualify is scheduled for May 15, 2005, 30 targets will be set out for your enjoyment. If ASA competition is not to your liking, come out and shoot the course as a non competitor at regular 3-D rates. See you on the 15^th.

Current membership expires on June 30, 2005. A membership renewal form and a self addressed stamped envelope are included with the news letter for your convenience. Please fill out the form, select the membership level desired, and return the completed form with the appropriate amount prior to July 1.

Happenings since the last Newsletter

* A new membership application form box has been purchased and is currently being lettered by David Hosier. Upon completion of lettering, the new box will replace the damaged box at the practice range. .

* Mid-Del Archers now have their own bulletin board located between the kitchen window and doorway in the Foxhunters Building. Check it out.

* The screen has been replaced in the kitchen screen door.

* The range signs along Fox Hunters road have been refurbished.

Membership assistance is needed to maintain the club ranges. If you have some time to spend at your archery club, please check the bulletin board at the practice range. Feel free to accomplish any task posted. Remember if you have to purchase materials to complete a task keep your receipts so reimbursement can be made. If your anticipated expenditures will exceed $25.00, call me at 284-2322 before making the purchase.
