MID-DEL ARCHERS
743 FOXHUNTERS ROAD
HARRINGTON, DE 19952
July 12, 2005
Fellow Archers,
The next monthly meeting of Mid-Del Archers is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM on July 17, 2005. The meeting place will be the Fox Hunters Clubhouse. The clubhouse will open @ 6:30. Topics of interest to be discussed are target refurbishment/replacement and disposition of the Ford Tractor. Hope to see you there
Mid-Del Archers hosted the Delaware Bay Tournament and ASA Delaware State Championship this month. Both shoots were two day events and were supported by the following members. Thanks to Al Pickens, Jim Eastman, Kevin Slack, David Hosier, Andy Kerr, and David Slack for your efforts. Also, a special thank you to goes to Lois Wyatt, for her efforts in the kitchen, especially for the barbeque chicken platters for the Delaware Bay Tournament.
The next Mid-Del Archers event is the monthly 3-D shoot on August 7, 2005. The August shoot will be a warm up for the Delaware Archery deer season so all hunters need to plan on the August Shoot.
The wind and rain last week blew the bulletin board cover open. All the notices and the task list were blown off the board. The bulletins and a new task list will be prepared and posted. Please make an effort to get to the club and check the task list, perhaps there is a task listed that you have the expertise and time to accomplish. Feel free to do as many tasks as are listed.
Membership dues for the 2005/2006 year were due by June 30, 2005. Thank you to those that have submitted their annual dues. To those who have not responded and who have questions regarding membership, please contact me either by phone (284-2322) or by e-mail (mrarcher41@aol.com) and I will answer your questions. The membership files will be revised at the end of July to reflect those members who have submitted their annual dues and life members. Non payment of annual dues by the end of July will result in loss of membership privileges and removal from the Mid-Del Archers membership rolls.
Plans are being made to cover the targets on the practice range. If you have any suggestions on how this can be accomplished please let us know.
Respectfully Yours
David Slack
