Fellow Archers,

Happy New Year.

The next monthly meeting of Mid-Del Archers is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM on January 15, 2006. The meeting place will be the Fox Hunters Clubhouse. The clubhouse will open @ 6:30.

New targets were utilized for the first shoot of 2006. It was a pleasure to be able to see the entire target scoring area. 27 archers came out to initiate the new targets. Thanks to those who came out and assisted setting out and collecting the targets for the shoot.

Numerous members turned out for the auction of replaced targets and monthly meeting. Members present purchased all but 2 targets. The 2 remaining targets will be available at the next shoot to anyone interested. Proceeds from the auction help to defray the new target costs.

Mid-Del Archers 2006 Shoot Schedule has been set. In addition to the monthly 3-D events, Mid-Del Archers will host ASA Qualifiers and State Championship, the Delaware Bay Championship, and the Delaware Senior Olympic National Qualifier/ Delaware State Championship, and a youth shoot. Schedules will be sent to each member. Assistance is needed to set up and take down targets for these shoots. If you wish to assist for any shoot, call either Al Pickens (284-8353) or David Slack (359-4761).

The Mid-Del Archer website (www.mid-delarchers.com) has been revised to allow communication with club officers. Questions and comments can now be made on line.

Work is scheduled to commence on the target range as soon as roofs are completed on the practice range. Contact Al Pickens if you have a few hours to volunteer on this project. Be sure to check the “To Do” list posted on the practice range bulletin board.

We are getting a group together to go to Nanticoke in Seaford for their January 22^{nd 3-D shoot. The more the merrier so come out and get involved. See you at Seaford on the 22nd.}
