Fellow Archers,

The next monthly meeting of Mid-Del Archers is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM on December 18, 2005. The meeting place will be the Fox Hunters Clubhouse. The clubhouse will open @ 6:30.

A decision to purchase McKenzie targets as replacements for targets currently being used was made at the last monthly meeting. 19 new targets have been ordered and received. New targets will be put on the range beginning with the January 3-D shoot.

Replaced targets will be made available to club members during the next monthly Mid-Del Archers meeting. A minimum donation of $40.00 will be required for each target on the night of the meeting. Targets will be allocated by lottery. Be sure to attend the next meeting. Targets will be available for inspection prior to the meeting.

Mid-Del Archers 2006 Shoot Schedule was discussed and the tentative 2006 shoot schedule was established. There 16 shoots scheduled for 2006, including the ASA Qualifiers and State Championship, the Delaware Bay Championship, and the Delaware Senior Olympic National Qualifier/ Delaware State Championship shoots. We are seeking sponsors for the 2006 shoots, if you know any business or organization willing to sponsor a shoot, please contact: David Slack @ 284-2322, if no answer, leave a message.

I have added the club web site address to the letter heading. Refer to the website when looking for club shoot dates, local Pro shop web links, weather, etc. This can be an asset to our future as an archery club.

Work is scheduled to commence on the target range as soon as roofs are completed on the practice range. Contact Al Pickens if you have a few hours to volunteer on this project.
