January 4, 2005
Fellow Archers,
The first 3-D shoot for the New Year is history. The shoot was a success. I wish to thank the club members for their support setting up and taking down the range.
The next meeting of the Mid-Del Archers is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM on January 16, 2005. The meeting place will be the Fox Hunters Clubhouse. The clubhouse will open @ 6:30.
The proposed club dues amounts and the proposed 2005 shoot fees were unanimously approved at the December 28, 2004 meeting.
Since the last newsletter numerous things have happened:
* Tires have been repaired on the Gator thanks to Jim Eastman.
* A replacement starter has been installed on the Gator. Now, the Gator actually starts without beating the starter.
* Target faces have been placed on the target butts at the practice range.
* A new refrigerator has been purchased and installed in the Foxhunter Club building.
* Membership applications have been placed in the mail box at the practice range.
* Signs have been made to be placed in front of the Foxhunter clubhouse and on Route 14 at the entrance to Foxhunters Road before each 3-D shoot.
There is still much to do and your assistance is needed. If you have some time to spend at your archery club and are wondering how you can be of assistance, please call me (David Slack) @ 284-2322 and I will give you some suggestions. Or if you are at the Club after the beginning of the New Year, check the bulletin board at the practice range. A list of tasks that need to be done will be posted. Feel free to accomplish any task or all tasks if you really feel frisky. Remember if you have to purchase materials to complete a task keep your receipts so reimbursement can be made. If your anticipated expenditures will exceed $25.00, call me at the above number before making the purchase.
Respectfully Yours
